Reviving Orwell Farm Steading
Located on the outskirts of Milnathort, with views of Loch Leven, Orwell Farm dates back to the 1800s when it was originally built as part of Kinross Estates.
When the farm steading was bought by Jeff and Lynsay Manson in 2019, it was the agricultural setting and heritage that inspired them to create a sustainable rural business hub.
The rectangular layout of the steading has remained consistent through the years, however due to advances in farming throughout the lifespan of the farm, some of the steadings walls had been altered for vehicle entrances.
However, there were still some key features of the original building such as a date stone of 1841, which was upon a loft level window lintel.
